There are many reasons people want to go to a trade show. They want to see new products and services that might help them in their lives or at work.People go for entertainment and for something to do.Others go to support the organizers'attempt to raise money or awareness.Some people go to say hello to friends or coworkers who are working at the trade show.There are even some who go just to get out of work.
提示 人们想参加会展的原因有很多。他们想看看对生活或工作有益的产品和服务。也有人纯粹为了娱乐和打发时间而去参加会展。还有人是为了到场支持主办单位募款或增强团体意识。有些人去跟在会场工作的朋友或同事打招呼。甚至有些人是到会场寻找工作机会的。
Dialogue 1
A：Get up sleepy head. It's Saturday morning and we're going to the trade show.
B：Honey, it's still dark out. Why are you up so early?
Come back to bed.
A：I want to get there early to beat the crowds. Come on. It's time to hit the shower.
B：Honey, why are you so anxious to get to this trade show?
A：Are you kidding?It'll be great. There's going to be a lot of cool stuff to look at.
B：Maybe you should go by yourself. I'm just not as excited as you are.

A：I've seen three different banks represented here. I think we should go talk to them.
B：What do you want to talk to the banks for?
A：We can compare services and interest rates. We can compare bank charges and fees.
B：You have a good idea. If our banking costs are cut down, we'll make more money.

B：But Susan and Tom are stuck at the trade show until 10 o'clock tonight. They can't come.
A：You and I can still go.
B：It doesn't seem fair. It won't be as much fun without them. I'm going to go say hi.

A：What's Bob doing there?
B：He's selling the tickets to get in. They should both be sitting at the door.

A：Don't you want to get out of here for a while?
It'll be a nice break from the norm.
B：Sounds good. I'll go get my coat.We're coming back here later though, right?

A：I hope so. I think this trade show will be very informative.
B：I'm going to bring a pad of paper so I can take notes.

B：Okay. I'm going to have a bite to eat too.Are you hungry?You want something?
