For most trade shows the application will be sent by fax or mail. For some large and well established trade shows application forms might be sent by email.Others may have a website from which the application form can be downloaded.The organizers of a trade show want the contact information of each potential display.They also want to know where the business would like its booth to be in the show space.

Dialogue 1
A：Ryan called me back this morning. He got my message about us needing a package.
B：He's going to send the registration package?How long before we get it?
A：He's sending it over by fax. I told him we didn't need all the other stuff.
B：Right. We've done this before.All we need is the application form itself.
A：I'll keep an eye out for it. When it comes through， I'll let you know.
B：I don't mind if you fill it out. I'm going to be in meeting all day anyway.

A：I already opened it. The deadline for the application isn't until the end of the month.
B：Good. Then I have a lot of time to fill it out.
There's no hurry.
A：Actually, it was pretty quiet here this morning. I already filled it out.
B：Thanks, Bill！That makes my job easier. I'll just take a look through it then.

A：Why don't you give it to me when you're done?
I'll check it over and mail it for you.
B：Thanks. When you go down to the post office remember to bring some stamps back.

A：Yeah. If people get tired and leave early they'll still have walked past our booth.
B：You've convinced me. The three closest to the entrance are my top three picks.

B：Better put down three. If it's quiet and we both want to sit we'll still have one more.
A：They want to know how many will attend the lunch each day.
B：I'm going to want to eat. Aren't you?Put both of us for all three days.

A：Not really. I'd rather just grab something and bring it back to the booth.
B：Okay. I'm fine with that.Put down zero for the lunches.
